Longfellow Litter Free Neighborhood Association is participating in Minneapolis' Clean City Program by adopting seven streets in the Longfellow Neighborhood. We have adopted 28th street east, 29th street east, 31st street 32 street east,33rd street east, and 34th street east from 26th avenue South or Minnehaha Avenue until 38th avenue South. We have also adopted Hiawatha Avenue from Cedar Avenue to 35th street east. For each clean up event the wagon puller will start at the starting point shown on the map below and we will work our way to the ending point following the route on the map below. You will be invited to spend as much time as you can volunteering for the day. Just make sure to return your safety vest, buckets, and litter grabber when you are finished for the day. All members/volunteers must be 18 years or older. With the setup we currently have, supplies can be provided for three people. The wagon puller plus two more volunteers. To become a member of Longfellow Litter Free Neighborhood Association and support our mission, please fill out the member form below. We will get back in touch with you letting you know that you are all ready to sign up for the clean-up events listed below. After signing up for 2 or more events we will notify you that you are all set to attend the monthly member meetings to help guide the association to long term success.

This is the map of the path taken on each clean up route. The routes for 28th Street E, 29th Street E, 31st Street E, 32nd Street E, 33rd Street E, and 34th Street East all start and finish where Minnehaha or 26th Ave S intersects them. For the route for the section between Hiawatha Ave and Minnehaha ave the starting and ending point is on the intersection of 34th Street E and Minnehaha Ave. The starting and ending point of the route for the Hiawatha Ave cleanup is at the intersection of Hiawatha Ave and 35th Street E. The starting point is on the west side of Hiawatha Ave.
